How did you learn about ITW?
I became familiar with ITW at the career fair, where my now boss pulled me from the crowd. I was interviewed and offered an internship in the IT department in 2018. During this internship I learned that ITW is a company with a lot of opportunities and I knew I would have room to grow so I took a full-time offer post-graduation. 

Tell us about your ITW journey thus far, in what role(s) and businesses have you worked in?
I spent the summer of 2018 with ITW as a Business Solutions Intern in the IT department at Corporate. As an intern I was given opportunities to work alongside different teams across the corporate office and network with people across the company. Throughout the summer I noticed how much ITW cared for its people and how much everyone cared for each other, which was ultimately the reason I accepted a full-time offer to return after I graduated. As an IT Business Solutions analyst, I coordinate, communicate and organize our Corporate office’s technology needs. This requires me to have that entrepreneurial mindset everyone at ITW is talking about to come up with creative solutions for our company. 

For those who were ITW interns, how did your internship help you prepare for your full-time role?  
As an intern in the IT department I worked on projects that are not much different than the one’s I am working on as a full-time employee, the only difference is now my work is a lot more autonomous. 

What is your favorite ITW memory? 
I love participating in the Day of Service. ITW truly cares about its people and its communities and you can really feel it on the Day of Service.
