Tell us about your ITW journey thus far, in what role(s) and businesses have you worked in? 

• Joined ITW out of university as a Product Coordinator at ITW Permatex Canada. Oversaw product development, packaging, branding and marketing/sales support. (1.5 years)
• Transferred to Strategic Sourcing Group as an eSourcing Analyst on the COE eSourcing team. Educated sourcing teams across the enterprise on strategic sourcing best practices. Managed RFQ/RFI portion of sourcing projects, providing sourcing teams with in-depth analysis, sourcing recommendations and supplier negotiation support. (3 years)

What does a typical day in your current role look like?

• Collaborate with sales and engineering to strategically source parts and machinery for new programs to maximize material margin
• Work with material managers to solve supply issues
• Analyze division spend and develop strategies to align prior spend with strategic suppliers and achieve savings
• Monitor raw material market intelligence

What is your favorite ITW memory? 
My favorite memory is attending my first sourcing conference. It was the first time I had the opportunity to meet and connect with colleagues from divisions around the globe. It was exciting to learn about the customer pain points each business was dedicated to solving and how they were positioning themselves to innovate and take advantage of new technologies to create value.
